LYS: Stone's Throw Artisans

I had a chance to briefly visit Stone's Throw Artisan's in Georgetown for the first time today. I must say that I really like it. The owner, Beth, was extremely friendly and helpful. She had a great selection of yarn, books, and a much larger selection of needles than any of the other local yarn stores. She also carries spinning equipment. Possibly the best thing about Beth and her yarn shop was her willingness to stay open late to accommodate knitters and her offer to use the studio space for activities. The shop has been open for eight years. Like many of us, this shop is really feeling the pinch due to the economy, so stop in and help Stone's Throw keep the doors open!
